Author Biography

Rhiân Williams’ work has received a lot of attention including a notable from the CBCA and a place on the Speech Pathology Australia Book of the Year awards shortlist. Rhiân is also a volunteer with her local rural fire Brigade and is very pleased that Emergency! Emergency! Vehicles to the Rescue will help children learn all about the ways emergency vehicles can help to keep them safe! For over twenty years, Tom Jellett has illustrated much loved picture books for children including My Dad Thinks He’s Funny. His work has appeared in numerous magazines and newspapers, including editorial illustrations for The Australian and The Weekend Australian. Tom has been included in the Editorial and Book category for Illustrators 61, and exhibited at the Society of Illustrators, New York in 2019.
