AUTHOR: Portrait-photographer and artist Joseph Wolfgang Ohlert was born in 1991 in Bavaria in Germany. He did various internships working in the set design department of movie productions and theaters as well as an assistant director. In 2012 he began his studies at the renowned Ostkreuz School of Photography, from which he graduated in 2015. His work is being published and exhibited in group and solo shows around the world. Early 2016 he self published his first photobook Gender as a Spectrum which has received a great amount of media attention. Parallel to his work in the photographic field he has most recently dedicated himself more strongly to artistic projects. In 2017 he opened his own gallery\/studio space P7 GALLERY in Berlin.
